My life, health, family, and friends. A beautiful day spent at

What gets you excited about life?
Waking up, the beauty of nature, working with smart engaging people, helping others, discovering new places and ideas, a great conversation and learning something new, a long walk or swim at the beach.
What is the best advice you have ever been given?
Believe in yourself.
How do you define success?
Making a positive and meaningful impact in someone’s life. Giving the most precious resource we have – TIME – to another person or endeavor.
What is your proudest achievement?
Helping my brother with cerebral palsy (CP) complete the IronMan Kona and being part of the book, “One More Step,” describing his journey and life.
What life lesson did you learn the hard way?
The need to face life’s challenges and obstacles, finding a way to overcome them, and not dwelling on the past or worrying about the future. And, the importance of being happy and grateful for what I have right now.
What was the best book you’ve read and why?
“One More Step” by Bonner Paddock. It’s truly an inspiring book about overcoming life’s challenges, both physical and mental. It is also the story of my brother, and the many challenges he’s faced and worked hard to overcome; and the wonderful desire to help others become better and grow from their own personal struggles and all the joys that brings.

Prior to M Premier Partners, Mike McConnell was Senior Vice President and Financial Advisor with The HMM Group at Integrated Wealth Management from March 2013 to July 2017. Before Mike starting working in financial services, he enjoyed a successful career in Silicon Valley as a strategic consultant to start-up companies and leading telecommunications corporations. Mike’s fascination with the capital markets stems from his extensive experience with research, due diligence and critical analysis of asset classes and market sectors. Mike uses this knowledge to capitalize and develop strategic investment plans for high net worth families, privately held businesses, and nonprofit organizations. Mike is keenly focused on assisting clients as they navigate the various stages of their personal and professional lives providing expertise in planning, investing, and managing their assets for income distribution in retirement.
Mike believes that every life passage or major event, such as marriage, divorce, widowhood, parenthood, illness, retirement or inheritance, has financial implications. M Premier Partner’s primary focus is to help you take charge of your financial issues as you move through these passages.
Mike holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Irvine. He also currently serves on the Board of Directors for the OM Foundation; a charitable organization dedicated to building learning and rehabilitation centers for disabled children.
